Antonio Cascais is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and investigative tv-, radio- and print media- journalist based in Cologne, Germany and Lisbon, Portugal. After studying Journalism in Dortmund University, he specialized on directing feature lenght documentaries, covering foreign affairs, especially in Africa, Latin America and Europe.
He was awarded with the "Journalistenpreis Entwicklungspolitik" for his works on the situation of the so called "third world".

Antonio Cascais speaks and writes fluent English, German, Portuguese, Spanish, French and Italian.
